As a family run company, our ethics and the impact we have on the environment around us are extremely important to us. We believe in using materials from sustainable sources, we use local printers to our customers to minimise our impact on the environment and we provide active support for our chosen charities. Here’s a quick overview of what we’re doing to ensure we are always a socially responsible company.


There are many measures we take to ensure we support and promote sustainability in our day-to-day business:

  • We ensure that our suppliers are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified wherever possible
  • We use sustainable harvested paper
  • Most of our paper is sourced from our near neighbours in Scandinavia and Europe
  • Most of the ink we use is based on vegetable oil and can be recycled

Two Sides

We are also members of the Two Sides initiative, an industry body established to promote the use of sustainable and responsible forestry, paper production and printing. Our aim is to ensure that print and paper’s recyclable and renewable qualities can be enjoyed for generations to come. See for more information.


We hold strong company values when it comes to corporate social responsibility and it has always been vital that our suppliers also share these values – to minimise impact on the environment and to use materials from sustainable sources whenever possible.


We are strong believers in and supporters of apprenticeships as a way of recruiting new members of our company that has maximum positive social impact. Our apprentice scheme has been incredibly successful for us over the years. We have also been finalists in the UK Apprenticeships Business of the Year Award.


This year our chosen charity is the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a cause that is close to all of our hearts. Earlier this year, Print Strategy Director, Paul Newton received the devastating news that his daughter had been diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Paul has been inspired to cycle 500km to raise funds and our employees have staged a range of sports and social fund-raising events.
