THE LUXURIOUS MARKETING PIECE THAT IS BEATING SALES FORECAST FOUR TIMES OVER
Owen & Williamson is a prestigious supplier of gifts and collectibles in the UK. They were really excited when the famous dress designer and star of Channel 4’s ‘My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding’, Thelma Madine, agreed to design a figurine, which was then hand sculpted by Neil Welch for Royal Staffordshire.
The figurine was based on one of Thelma’s iconic designs and hand set with over 30 Swarovski crystals. With so much care and detail going into the design and creation of this limited edition figurine, it was essential that the marketing really did it justice.
Print Strategy was delighted to be asked to help and recommended using specialist varnish finishes to give the marketing a luxurious feel, as well as cutting the literature into the same shape as the figurine to make it eye-catchingly different. The end result looked fantastic and performed brilliantly.
The most rewarding part of the campaign, however, is the sales results – to date sales are four times higher than were forecast and the figurines are still selling brilliantly.
“Print Strategy Europe not only gave us ideas but they guided us and our creative partners through the whole process, the finished piece is incredible and the sales results are superb.”
