Client Brief

As part of the relaunch of their Tea Club, Whittard needed ideas for a direct mail piece.
The objective
The objective of the direct mail piece was to recruit new members to the Tea Club as cost effectively as possible.

Outcomes

The team managed all aspects of this mailing, including recommending paper stock and materials, suggesting a second window in the envelope design for a foiled voucher and the use of a personalised stamp to add an additional element of luxury. We tried two different creatives and the results were measured during the campaign. Finally, we saved Whittard 7.5 pence per mailing in postage, which is a sizeable cost efficiency on a mailing of 50,000.
