Client Brief

Mr & Mrs Smith wanted to showcase their exciting new itineraries, starting with Sri Lanka, using a high impact piece of direct mail.
The objective
The objective was to launch some brand new destinations and to inform customers that they could book entire itineraries though Mr & Mrs Smith.

Deliverables

Print Strategy was charged with the developing the concept, designing and printing 117,000 direct mail pieces as well as taking care of all aspects of the mail out.

As always, the creative input and service from Print Strategy was second to none. We were delighted with how our Sri Lanka mailing turned out and performed.

Outcomes

Our team developed the idea of using a map of Sri Lanka to showcase the itinerary and to create real impact with its sheer size. Rather than use silk as first proposed by the client, we recommended an uncoated paper stock to give it an even more luxury feel. We designed the map to fold down to A5 to benefit from cheaper postage rates and also to give it maximum impact as it folded out to its full size. The mailing was a huge success and the format was rolled out to include all Mr & Mrs Smith itineraries.
